Fiction
I have broad taste in novels but generally like narrative and character-driven fiction, interesting settings and high concept novels. I’m looking for work by historically under-represented authors. I’d be delighted to find a wonderful love story or a thriller that I can’t put down. The books I’ve recommended most frequently in the past couple of years are Glorious Exploits and The Wedding People and my comfort read is anything by Elly Griffiths. Please note that I do not represent SFF or books for children and don’t respond to submissions in these genres.
Non-fiction
I’m looking for narrative non-fiction, history, politics, memoir, popular psychology and science, lifestyle and wellbeing. Big ideas and subjects that get people talking. I have a strong track record of helping experts translate their work for a general audience.
